JIM PRY - 67 VOTES NEW DIRECTOR
CRYSTAL SHERER - 37 VOTES NEW DIRECTOR
MARY DOUGHERTY - 17 VOTES END OF TERM
JILL LIVELY - 0 VOTES (NOT RUNNING) END OF TERM
Overall this was an OUTSTANDING MEETING!
Almost eveyone was smiling and joking and clapping at the election results and the selection of Ranch and Sea as the new offsite "manager". Also, discussed were the efforts of so many volunteers who participated in the last year helping Marina Del Mar to achieve a stabilization after so many mistakes by previous boards.
The new selection of Officers, kept Becky as President & Treasurer, Crystal as Secretary, and Rick Dougherty as Vice President. Our best hopes and wishes go out to them as they face incredible challenges like the ones listed below:
1. Redo the current lease or start a new one
2. Tenting for Termites
3. Rebuilding the walkways
4. Getting our front lot exit gate moved
5. Overcoming the deficit and bad debts created over a year ago
6. Deletion of Marina Del Mar Management Corporation
7. Personnal Changes in Employees
8. Movement of the Office
9. Assessment Collection
These are just some of the problems they face. But, with the problem of discention among the directors solved they can press foward in a TEAM ACTION which they all admit they get along great! Best Wishes to everyone!
